By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Booking, Fees & Payment Terms
Deposits: A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours to confirm your booking.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled no later than 14 days prior to check-in.
Short-Notice Bookings: Bookings made less than 14 days before arrival must be paid in full to be confirmed.
Cleaning Fee: A fixed cleaning fee of R500 applies to each booking.
Breakage Deposit: A mandatory breakage deposit of R550 is required prior to arrival.
Guest Verification: Guests must complete a personal information form and submit a copy of their ID document to finalize the booking.
Bank Charges: Guests are responsible for any bank charges resulting from cash deposits or international wire transfers.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing and take effect only once received and acknowledged by the host.
Breakage Deposit Policy
Refunds: The R550 breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days post-departure, provided the property passes inspection with no damages, losses, or rule breaches.
Deductions: Deductions will be made for repairs, missing items, extra cleaning, or replacements if property, furnishings, or linens/towels are left dirty, damaged, or irreparably stained.
Smoking Breach: Any evidence or odor of indoor smoking/vaping will result in the immediate and full forfeiture of the R550 deposit.
Excess Liability: Should damage or replacement costs exceed R550, the booker remains personally liable for the remaining balance.
Check-in & Departure Times
Check-in Window: 14:00 – 20:30
Check-out Window: 09:30 – 10:00
Arrival Details: Key collection instructions will be shared prior to arrival. Guests must inform the host of their expected arrival time to avoid access delays or late departure fees.
Occupancy & Guest Conduct
Guest Capacity: Strictly limited to a maximum of 4 registered guests.
Age Limit: Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or official legal guardian.
No Visitors: Only registered guests listed on the booking are permitted on the property and its amenities. Day visitors are strictly prohibited.
Parties & Noise: No loud music, rowdy behavior, or parties (including hen, stag, bachelor, or bachelorette events) are permitted. Breach of conduct terms may result in immediate cancellation without refund.
House Rules
No Smoking or Vaping: Strictly prohibited anywhere inside the property.
No Pets: Animals are strictly forbidden anywhere on the premises.
Departure Checklist: Wash and put away all dishes (unwashed dishes are not covered by the standard cleaning service and will incur an extra charge). Ensure all windows are closed, doors are locked, and the alarm is armed upon departure.
Communal Pool Rules
Operating Hours: Open daily from 06:00 to 19:00.
Pool Conduct: Intoxicated, rowdy, or disorderly behavior in the communal pool area is strictly banned.
Liability Disclaimer & Force Majeure
Personal Liability: The accommodation provider accepts no responsibility for death, personal injury, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings (including items left behind).
